Production Call – Seeking Videographers

By weaving artistic expression, scientific knowledge and Indigenous wisdom into a powerful transmedia bridge, “Forest Calls” amplifies the urgent global struggle to preserve our planet’s interconnected biological and cultural diversity before these vital native voices, ecosystems, and ancestral stories are lost to silence forever.
This project is built for high public visibility and amplifies the momentum created by the documentary film, “When Silence Becomes the Song”, which premiered on PBS in 2024.
The Cincinnati production sequences you will capture are designed for an equivalent high-profile trajectory. Your work will directly supply large-scale multi-sensory theatrical galleries, immersive video installations, and local/national public broadcast segments.
We are currently looking for four Cincinnati-based videographers to form two distinct production teams. You can apply with a partner or as an individual to be paired with another media production professional.
Job Description: Film rehearsals, behind-the-scenes, performances and interviews during the various events of the Forest Calls week in October 2026.
Dates: October 8th – 11th 2026 inclusively
You can apply directly from the Contact Us page of the website.
You can also send an email to: ContactUs@ForestCalls.org
Thank you.
