Creative Conservation class (EVST 4001)

We are delighted to announce that Dr. Laura Zanotti and Dr. Teri Jacobs are teaching Creative Conservation (EVST 4001) this fall in conjunction with “Forest Calls”.

Storytelling is a powerful tool for biodiversity, conservation, and community action, and Forest Calls is the perfect platform to put this to practice!

In this class, students will explore how storytelling can connect audiences to nature, place, and people to make a positive difference. Learn how scholars, artists, practitioners, and others integrate storytelling into successful programs. Discover how you, too, can harness the power of creative conservation.

The class is offered on MWF 9:05-10:00 AM, CCH 1120, and fulfills requirements for the Environmental Studies undergraduate academic programs including the B.A., the B.S., and the Environmental Studies minor.

For more information, contact Dr. Laura Zanotti (zanottla@ucmail.uc.edu) or Dr. Teri Jacobs (brasheta@ucmail.uc.edu).
