Recent Public Presentations

We have been busy lately, promoting “Forest Calls” and gathering momentum, as we continue to secure partnerships with scientists, artists and cultural practitioners – both in the Greater Cincinnati area and in Kauaʻi / Hawaiʻi.

On January 30th, as part of the ‘2026 UC Sustainability Week‘ events, “When Silence Becomes The Song” was projected at the Niehoff Family Auditorium. It was followed by a Q&A session with students, faculty and members of the general public.

Two weeks later, on February 13th, the UC Center for Public Engagement with Science (PEWS) concluded their project series on ‘Environmental Storytelling’ with a discussion about “Forest Calls” led by Prof. Nancy Jennings.

It was wonderful to meet everyone and discuss the various transmedia projects of “Forest Calls”. It provided us with the opportunity to meet potential new partners, present the timeline, give background information about the project… and just move forward!

A big THANK YOU to Nancy and Laura for organizing these two events.
